The HydraFacial system can be performed on all skin types, its fast, virtually pain free and produces immediate results with no downtime. It is ideal for treating the following skin problems:

  • Sundamage – hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Dry or dehydrated skin
  • Loss of skin clarity, resilience and firmness
  • Oily and acne prone skin
  • Congested and enlarged pores

What does the treatment involve?

A HydraFacial treatment includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions and hydration with infusions of antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid. It improves the health of the skin by rebuilding antioxidant levels and improves skin hydration with hyaluronic acid infusions into the dermal layers.

A HydraFacial treatment has 5 stages:

  1. Cleansing and exfoliation – removing the dead skin cells to reveal fresher, brighter, more youthful skin beneath.
  2. Acid peel – a gentle peel that loosens dirt and debris without skin irritation.
  3. Extractions – automatic suction to clean out your pores.
  4. Hydration – infusion of antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to nourish and protect.
  5. Protection – the final step to maintain and protect the results of your HydraFacial.

With each treatment, a series of HydroPeel tips exfoliate your skin, removing unwanted dead skin cells with each pass. They dislodge and remove impurities and add hydrating, antioxidant skin solutions.

How does HydraFacial work?

  3. Extractions – automatic suction to clean out your pores.

How long does it take and does it hurt?

The average HydraFacial session takes less than 30 minutes depending on the skin condition and area to be treated. There is virtually no discomfort or recovery time and normal activities can be resumed immediately.

How many treatments are required?

A package of 3 treatment sessions at monthly intervals is initially recommended.

Are there any side effects following treatment?

Mild redness may occur similar to sunburn, make-up can be applied immediately and there is little or no recovery time needed post treatment.

What are the costs likely to be?

The initial consultation is offered free of charge with no obligation to undergo treatment. The price of each session depends on the skin condition and size of area to be treated. Prices start from £85 per session.

Can all areas of the body be treated and does skin colour make a difference?

All areas of the body can be treated but it should be emphasised that resurfacing techniques work best on facial skin. All types of skin colour can be treated.

What is the difference between HydraFacial and laser skin resurfacing?

The advantage of HydraFacial treatment is low risk and rapid results compared to traditional resurfacing techniques such as dermabrasion, deep peels and laser resurfacing. This fact is both its advantage and its limitation.

HydraFacial results in rapid healing and little risk due to very superficial epidermal injury, hence only shallow scars and fine lines can be addressed. It is not effective for deep wrinkles and scars because these lesions extend into the deeper dermis. Patients with these problems are best treated with more aggressive techniques such as laser resurfacing.

Is HydraFacial safe?

There is no evidence to suggest whatsoever that treatment can lead to skin disorders or increased risk of skin cancer. Our expert medical team has in excess of 20 years experience and have completed more than 100,000 successful treatments. Rest assured you are in safe hands.
